There is too much of “chakra talk” going on everywhere.
Especially in the West, wherever you go, there are “wheel alignment centers”
where they claim to “align” your seven chakras. From yoga studios to
chiropractics, everybody is talking about it these days. That has become a fad.
But though everybody only talks about seven chakras, there are actually 114
chakras in the body.
The energy center that constitutes the foundation of the
human system, as well as the largely obscure, mystical science of kayakalpa,
which is related to the muladhara and can lend a human being seemingly superhuman
capabilities.
Swadhishthana means “abode of the self.” When one masters
the Muladhara, it can either lead to a very stable body, or to a certain
drunkenness of experience, or to heightened levels of perception. If one has
used the mastery over the Muladhara for stability alone, then the Swadhishthana
becomes a strong abode of regeneration and pleasure.
Manipura – The
Maintenance Center
The manipura (or manipuraka), which is essential for the
maintenance functions of the body. The possibility of moving the manipura and
the significance of this movement in martial arts traditions, as well as
manipura sadhana which involves spreading sound throughout the system.

Does it Take to Explore Anahata?
The anahata chakra, where the lower three chakras and the
upper three meet. He discusses the possibilities and the perils of entering the
realm of anahata, explaining that anahata is a tremendous place, but can become
terrible if one is not ready for it.
Vishuddhi Chakra –
The Power of Blue

what possibilities an active Vishuddhi holds, and how it is connected to
Adiyogi and the color blue.
Agna Chakra – Clarity
beyond Color
The Agna chakra, its qualities, its connection with the
state of vairagya, and its association with the Isha Yoga Center.
Sahasrar Chakra –
Inebriation and Ecstasy
The realm of Sahasrar, where inebriation and ecstasy abound.
He explains why it is not a place for one to inhabit, its connection to Adiyogi
and the crescent moon, and how people often touched this dimension in southern
Indian temples.
Brahmarandhra: A
Passage for Life
